Among the key initiatives, the Jazz des Cinq Continents Metropolitan Tour extends the spirit of Marseille’s international festival across the wider metropolitan area: in 2026, 21 municipalities will host concerts, affirming a clear commitment to cultural outreach beyond the city center.
In the same spirit, the Metropolitan Artistic Tour, led directly by the Metropolitan Authority, has expanded since 2025 to include all municipalities with fewer than 15,000 inhabitants, and now encompasses all performing arts disciplines: live performance, contemporary music and street arts.
