Located in the heart of the eastern side of the Island Domaine Mavela is the first Mediterranean whisky distillery. It’s not that surprising when you know the exceptional geography of the region and the Domaine itself, with the surrounding sea and the mountains, an ideal Mediterranean climate and outstanding natural spring water that when combined lead to the magnificent P&M Single Mat. A whisky that was rated 5th best in the world in the under 12 year-old category by Jim Murray’s whisky bible.

The Domaine also produces a complete range of fine spirits just waiting to be discovered that include plum, grape raspberry, pear, citron, myrtle and chestnut.
The traditional distillery proceeds with the utmost care at each stage of the production process. The fruit that is selected is seasonal, organic, or has not been treated, without any yeast or artificial coloring added. The fruit is all hand-picked then distilled in one of the world’s best stills while the bottles and corks are made in France.
