You’re returning to TF1 in the highly anticipated second season of « Érica », following the success of the first in 2025. What touches you most about this character?
What touches me most about this character is how close she feels to people. I feel like she could be our best friend, our sister, our fiancée… someone from the family, really. She is profoundly human, with flaws she doesn’t try to hide. « Érica » is both fragile and clever, full of contradictions, and that’s what makes her so moving. I really love her vulnerability, the honesty with which she shows it. Even though she resolved many things in the first season, she still discovers others in the second season that she hasn’t fully dealt with. In this new season, she is more introspective, searching for herself.
How did filming in Hossegor influence the atmosphere and energy of this new season?
This year in Hossegor, we were incredibly lucky: the weather was beautiful almost the entire shoot! Nothing like the first season, where the wind and the cold made outdoor scenes much more complicated, especially those meant to feel sunny. This time, we were blessed! The beautiful weather gave the series real light and a gentle, joyful energy. We filmed stunning scenes at sunset, with magnificent skies… It was magical. Hossegor, under those conditions, felt like a timeless place, almost a bubble. We wrapped in October, with the autumn light it was even more beautiful. You’ll see it in episodes 2 and 3: the magic of Les Landes comes alive. It’s a privileged, protected place, with breathtaking landscapes and pine forests that give a very calming feeling.
Do you see yourself in « Érica » or is it a role very different from you?
I don’t know if it was intentional in the writing, but I immediately felt something in her that resonated with me, something that touched me deeply. At the same time, we are very different, and that’s something I love as well. She has elegance and refinement that I truly admire. Through her, I’ve been able to explore a softer part of myself. And there are points of connection: vulnerability, spontaneity, that way of feeling things intensely. I don’t know if it was written that way, or if it’s what I brought to her. There’s always an alchemy between the character and the actor you inevitably put a bit of yourself into it. What I love about her are precisely the qualities I don’t have myself: her delicacy, her restraint. I recognize them without fully possessing them, and that’s why I love playing her so much.

After « Le Bazar de la Charité » and « Les Combattantes », which left a mark on viewers, what does this third installment, « Été 36 », represent for you?
Being part of « Été 36 » was really important to me. This series completes a trilogy about women’s rights in different eras, and I love the idea of remembering where we come from, understanding how far we’ve come, and what still needs to be protected. We find ourselves in August 1936, on the first day of paid holidays. It’s an incredible period, full of life and freedom. Suddenly, working-class people discover the sea, holidays, joy, while the upper class sees its world turned upside down… It’s a moment of hope and light, just before a darker period. History always teaches us something about the present and that’s why I deeply love period dramas: they remind us of where we come from and why we must continue to move forward.
What did you enjoy exploring through this role of a bourgeois woman in a time of upheaval?
I loved exploring that era and the condition of women, but also a feeling I had never really worked on before: jealousy. I didn’t expect it to be so complex to feel, understand, and portray. My character, Blanche, is a bourgeois woman who has everything to be happy, yet she is deeply unhappy because jealousy consumes her. She never had her father’s attention, her first love was in love with her sister played by Sofia Essaïdi and throughout her life, the men she loved always turned to that sister. She therefore feels invisible, hurt, and angry. What I find interesting about her is that she remains very human. We can all recognize a bit of ourselves in this feeling. At the age we meet her, she’s a mature woman who must confront this jealousy, decide whether to continue to suffer from it or free herself from it. I find that very powerful, very human: what do we do with our wounds when we become adults?
How do you manage to disconnect between shoots?
It’s quite simple: I recharge with my family, my friends… and especially in nature. Silence and calm help me a lot. Between shoots, I need to find myself again, to introspect a little. It’s not necessarily being surrounded by people on the contrary. Walking in nature or just watching the sea is a form of meditation for me. These moments help me recenter, let go of the character, and regain my own energy.
Which places or landscapes help you recharge the most?
I love recharging by the sea or in the heart of nature, especially in hilly landscapes. There’s something in the terrain, in this living nature, that really revitalizes me. But traveling also calms me. For example, Tanzania left a strong impression on me it’s flatter, but the vast open spaces have incredible energy. What I’m really looking for is to get away from civilization, to go where nature takes over completely. It’s a matter of vibrations.
What would you like to explore or learn outside of your acting career?
Oh, so many things! I still have so much to learn… Singing, dancing, English, playing an instrument, horseback riding… I’m endlessly curious! What I love is that each role opens a new door: one day I learn tennis, another day I discover boxing or the world of perfume. For one shoot, I studied perfume composition, and I absolutely loved it. Acting allows you to explore a thousand things, even if only briefly. Sometimes, some stick with you a little longer and that’s what makes it so fascinating.
What would you like to wish LiFE Magazine readers?
I wish LiFE Magazine readers to open their hearts wide, to enjoy the people they love, to laugh, dream, feel moved… and give a beautiful momentum to 2026! May this year be filled with gentleness, sincerity, and that beautiful light that keeps us moving forward. Because in the end, the most precious thing is this: to feel, to share, to live fully. And I also hope they enjoy their time in front of the TV with « Érica »… and soon meet Blanche in « Été 36 »! (smiles)
