David Guetta Meet the artist !

David, you’re constantly reinventing your sound. What are your new music projects, and what artistic directions do you want to explore?

Reinvention is part of my DNA as an artist. Right now, I’m working on new collaborations. I always have a list of artists I dream of working with.

I’m constantly producing new sounds in the pop and electro/dance worlds, and I love creating music. I’m demanding, but thanks to the diversity of my concepts, I can create tracks for different audiences-from very pop songs with international artists to more underground pieces, perfect for my late-night sets in Ibiza. I enjoy mixing genres, and I believe that’s where the magic happens.

Your career exemplifies constant evolution. How do you manage to stay at the forefront of electronic music while staying true to your unique style?

I think it’s a matter of passion and curiosity. I spend a lot of time listening to new music, observing trends, while trying to stay true to myself. It’s important to reinvent yourself, but without losing what defines you. I love the idea of surprising people while giving them what they unconsciously expect. It’s a subtle balance.

What are your ambitions for the coming years, both personally and professionally?

My ambition is to keep doing what I love-creating and sharing music. On a more personal level, I’m looking to spend more time with my family and find a healthier balance between the stage and my private life. Professionally, I also want to support the new generation of artists. I like the idea of collaborating with emerging talent and inspiring others to push the boundaries of what they can achieve.

The electronic scene is constantly evolving. How do you see the future of this genre, and what’s your place in this changing landscape?

I think electronic music will continue to diversify and blend with other genres. I see my role as both a pioneer and a guide. I’ve been fortunate to experience multiple eras of electronic music, and now I want to help the new generation thrive.

You’re the ambassador for Lyre’s, an exquisite range of non-alcoholic spirits. What drew you to this project, and how does this collaboration reflect your current lifestyle?

What really attracted me to Lyre’s was the idea of being able to party while embracing a healthy lifestyle. I love to celebrate, but I also have a lot of respect for my body and health. Lyre’s allows me to combine both, and that’s what’s great about it. This collaboration perfectly reflects what I want to promote: fun, connection, but with balance.

With such a successful career, what advice would you give to young artists who aspire to follow in your footsteps? In your view, what are the essential ingredients for longevity in this industry?

I’d tell them first to be authentic. There’s so much talent out there, but what makes you stand out is your ability to be yourself. You have to work hard, be persistent, and always stay open to learning. And above all, you have to love what you do. If you’re doing it just for fame, you won’t last in the long run.

How do you manage to maintain a balance between your professional and personal life?

It’s a challenge, I won’t lie. But over time, I’ve learned to prioritize. When I’m not on stage or in the studio, I dedicate myself entirely to my family. It’s essential for me to have moments where I can disconnect. And over the years, I’ve also learned to delegate a bit more to give myself some extra space.

What’s your daily morning routine?

I start my day with breakfast, followed by a workout session. I’ve set up a gym at home with Technogym, a brand I collaborate with. The equipment uses Biostrength technology, which has transformed my training through AI-powered features. These machines provide me with a virtual coach and personalized tracking. My workout has been completely transformed, and the experience is incredible! It’s the perfect way to kick-start the day, stay focused, and relieve stress.

What does a typical day look like for you when you’re not on tour or in the studio?

When I’m not touring, I spend a lot of time with my kids. I also try to take some time for myself, whether it’s working out or just watching a series on Netflix. I like to recharge, and I think it’s essential to keep my creativity intact.

With such a fast-paced lifestyle, what do you do to stay fit and maintain your energy?

I work out a lot, eat healthy, and, most importantly, I pay attention to my sleep. That’s the key. When you’re constantly on the move, it’s crucial to take care of yourself to keep going.

Sweet or savory? (Smile)

(Smile) Savory, without a doubt! I’ve always had a soft spot for savory dishes, and pasta, especially after a long set.

During your free time on vacation, are you more of a sun-and-kite-surf person or more of a mountains-and-ski type? How do you unwind?

(Smile) Both! I love the sea, but I also really enjoy the mountains and skiing! Both are great ways to disconnect and recharge my batteries.

What would you wish for our readers of LiFE magazine?

I wish for them to find their passion and pursue it fully, no matter what others say. And above all, take care of yourselves, enjoy life, and never forget to celebrate each moment with those you love.
